WINNEMUCCA, Nev.—The Run-A-Mucca® website has received an extreme makeover.
Web designer Larry Taylor (“LT”) got his hands on the
www.runamucca.com site earlier this spring and the results are nothing less than spectacular. From fiery logos to the introductory sound of a throaty motorcycle engine, the website does a great job drumming up excitement for a third great Memorial weekend in Winnemucca.“We just needed a more exciting and fun way to let people know about Run-A-Mucca,” said Winnemucca Convention and Visitors Authority Marketing and Special Events Coordinator Monica Miller. “LT has done a great job doing just that. He really has taken us to an updated, more professional level.”
Taylor said since the new site was launched mid-April, nearly 2,000 people have navigated the new site. A separate section dedicated to Run-A-Mucca® vendors also is registering high numbers.

Taylor plans to keep up the good work. He will be at this month’s event, scheduled for Friday, May 28 through Sunday, May 30, with digital camera in hand. Along with plenty of pictures, Taylor also will be looking to post 2005 event information on the site as quickly as he

“This website is our single greatest tool for getting the Run-A-Mucca word out there,” said Miller. “LT has helped us take this event to the next level, and we are confident this website will help our numbers continue to rise in the coming years.”
